MEET US

Hello! We (Grace and Ethan) are the new faces of Project Visable (the next generation). We officially took over Project Visable in early 2020. We have been part of and inspired by the mission to help homeless kids since our Moms originally set up this charity in 2012. Our mother's mission was that no kid should be invisible. We want to continue that principle and include that every kid's life matters. Individually and together we came up with new ways to help kids at risk.

The reason we wanted to take over from our moms now is that we feel old enough to take on the responsibility. We know how fortunate we are to have loving parents and a home. Yet we have seen with our own eyes that there are kids in LA who live very differently. It makes us very sad, and that's why we are motivated to help. We want to do whatever we can to help them.

This is just the start.....

We have a new vision. 

We want to be on the front line as kids, helping our peers. We have collaborated with a wonderful social worker who has linked us to a school counselor. She has identified a school in Los Angeles where there are kids in need of our help. We are currently preparing backpacks to meet the kids' specific needs. Instead of backpacks of food, we are focusing on filling the backpacks with school supplies. All of it is easily able to fit into our newly promised brand backpacks. Some feedback we had from the middle/high school kids was that they didn't want to feel different from their peers. So we now aim to have named backpacks, like Adidas, puma, Nike, so the kids feel comfortable and confident at school.  We hope the kids will love them and can take with them anywhere. We have created a wish list on Amazon (follow the shopping link on top of our website) if you would like to help us fill our future backpacks. We are aiming for 10 per month to start.
